Tracking sea ice in the Arctic can tell us a lot about the environmental health of our planet, and the Norwegian Meteorological Institute’s Jean Rabault Førland is looking for ways to do it better. Jean is inspired by finding ways to cut costs and collect more data to improve his numeric models, so he looked to the Artemis Global Tracker as a solution. The best part, it’s all open source. Follow Jean and his team on their quest to understand sea dynamics!
